Trashercise

Revealed by the Franklin Guru on 04/13/12

Trashercise in Franklin is tomorrow morning, Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 7:30am – meet at Puckett’s in Downtown Franklin or Leiper’s Fork! Trashercise is an annual event when the community pulls together to clean up about 54 miles of the state’s Old Tennessee Trail. Volunteers will be separated into groups and assigned a stretch of road. All supplies needed to pick up the trash will be provided. You can expect to finish between 9:30am and Noon depending on your area.

There will be some hidden coupons to find for the Treasure Hunt and you could win prizes that will be given away in Downtown Leiper’s Fork at 1:00pm. Prizes include TVs, movie and event tickets, guitars and a $250 savings account and more.

RSVP to volunteer for the Downtown Franklin Trashercise by sending an email to: gflittner@cdirad.com or calling 615.435.3580. The age limit is 16 and that is controlled by the county and for safety.
